A £500 grant has been awarded from the Nic Willoughby fund to support Adam Gillett, a pupil at St John’s School.

The purpose of the grant was to support a pupil who may be restricted from accessing an extra-curricular sports club. The funding will be used for Adam to attend horse riding lessons.

Nic’s friends and family wanted to support someone from St John’s School, as Nic had been a former pupil there. Heart of Bucks worked with the school to identify Adam as a worthy recipient of the award following the sudden death of his father last year.
